better now?

Jokingly, we can say we think well vote for Norman Thomas: at least, he states out-and-out, in the open, that he's a socialist, and doesn’t try to hide behind another name with his socialistic ideas.

It is no joke, however, when the time comes to vote and we have no one to vote for. Perhaps that puts t uS in one of those “minority groups” of which so much is heard. Many people seem to know for whom they will vote and they can state plainly Eisenhower or Stevenson as their choice. The ones of us who want neither are evidently the giinority, so maybe we’ll be taken care of by some of these “Fair Practices” policies and will be allowed to keep on about our business without the government taking all our profits and dictating how we shall run our daily rat-race.

Frankly, the outlook is not pretty, no matter how it goes, and some of us still think we have no one to vote for.
