TRACT NO. 1:

A certain tract or parcel of land, situate, lying and being in Stonewall Magisterial District, Rappahannock County, Virginia, known as the “Johnson and Brown Woodland Tract”, containing 41 4cres, more or less, being the same land acquired by Silas J. Johnson and James G. Brolwn, by deed dated June 16, 1637, and recorded June 19, 1897, in the Clerk’s Office of the Circuit Court of Rappahannock County, Virginia, in Deed Book U, at page 40. The interest of said Silas J. Johnson is now Owned and held by his daughter, Bernice Lester Sykes and his widow, Ara J. Hubbard; said Silas J. Johnson having died intestate leaving said Berniee Lester Sykes and Ara J. Hubbard, as his widow, as his sole heirs and distributees. ,

TRACT NO. II: *

All that certain tract or parcel of land situate lying and being in Stonewall Magisterial District, Rappahannock County, Virginia, known as the “Reid Woodland”, situate, lying and being - on Butler’s Mountain, containing 15 acres, more or less, and adjoining the lands formerly owned by George W. Butler, Joseph R. Bragonier, and others, said interest in said land was acquired by same James G. Brown from Fannie L. Reid, by deed dated January 3, 1908, and recorded March 6, 1911, in the aforesaid Clerk’s Office, in Deed Book Z, at page 19, the‘other ore-half undivided interest in said tract of land being owned by Cora R. Broiwn as an heir of J. J. Reid.

This tract No. 2 is subject to a timber contract with Ward-Rue Lumber Company, which has the right until October 9, 1953, to remove said timber previously marked by the Virginia Forestry Service. A copy of said contract may be seen at any time on or before the date of the sale.
