Making an informal poll of his own, a country editor asked a farmer in a remote area which candidate he was going to vote for in the coming election.
“Dewey,” came the reply, without hesitation.
"Why Dewey?” asked the editor.
“Because I voted for him in the last two elections,” explained the farmer, “and I ain’t never had things so good in my whole life!”
