Miss Evelyn Tyler Miller was a dinner guest on Sunday of Miss Neville Wood. a ‘ Henry Keyser of Williamsburg spent the weekend with his family in the home of his mother, Mrs. Will Keyser. His wife and son, Magruda, who have been staying at Pleasant View, returned with him Sunday. Magruda is entering this session as a student af VPI.
Dinner guests of Mrs. Keyser of Pleasant View on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Miller of Mt. Prospect and Dr. and Mrs. Edward Keyser of Front Royal.
A. J. Slaughter was in Front Royal Monday visiting his son and daughte-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Slaughter.
Mr. and Mrs. Jake Smoot has just received word from their son, Cpl. Jake Smoot, who has been in Germany for twenty-eight months, that he expects to arrive home in the near future for a furlough.
