Not one taxpayer in -a hundred suspects the extent to which buried taxes are cutting into his earnings. He kids himself that he at least isn’t footing the heaviest part of the nation’s tax bill. It is the big corporations and the millionaires, he figures, that gets hooked for that. He's wrong: through hidden axes, he, the American consumer, ir shouldering the bulk of the load.
