Mrs. C. W. Ewing, who spent the past three weeks in. the Schwartz home while her sister, Miss Louise Schwartz was on an overseas tour, returned on Sunday to her, home in Harrisonburg with her family who were here for a weekend visit. Miss Schwartz returned home Saturday evening.
Miss Elma Davis Bruce and Buddy Smith of Washington, D. C. spent the weekend with her mother, Mrs. Helen Bruce.
Mr. and Mrs. D. V. Chapman Jr. and son, David V. Ill were recent week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. D. V. Chapman, who also had as their guests for several days last week their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Wake and son, “Chappie,” Mr. and Mrs. Mears of Saluda. Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Chapman were Mr. and Mrs. Mrs. W. B. Chapman and daughter, Miss Pat Chapman and son, Donald.
Ranny Aylor was a recent weekend guest of Jackie Strait in the home of his grandmother, Mrs. Myrtle Jenkins in Winchester.
Mrs. Harry Smith of Washington, D. C. spent the weekend with her daughter, Miss Elizabeth Harrison Smith in the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Brown.
Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Hening spent the weekend in Alexandria with their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Burwell Hening. Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Hening will leave this week for Florida, where they will spend the winter.
