* Mrs. Thomas Cozzo of Washingtop, D. C. was an overnight guest on Thursday of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor. Mrs. H.H. Aylbr, her daughter-in-law and granddaughter, Mrs. H. H. Aylor Jr., Stevie } Aylor and Strother Brown were re' cent guests of Mrs. Myrtle Jenkins in Winchester. On Sunday Mrs. Aylor and daughter, Joan Kelly Aylor were dinner guests of Mrs. Della Howard at the Lee Highway Hotel. Mrs, W. O. Johnson of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina is the guest this week of her aunt, Mrs. J. B. Johnson and cousin, Mrs. Fred Schaefer. On Sunday other guests in the Johnson home were Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Payne of Madison, Fred W. Schaefer, Edna Yates and Susan Schaefer. B. F. Estes, who drove to town with Mrs. Johnson, is a "guest of his brother, James A. Estes and other relatives. Mrs. Jack Bruce and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer spent the weekend in Washington, D. C., where they were entertained by Madame Punyaratabhan at the Royal Thai Embassy. News was received in the county on Sunday morning of the pasing of Jake Crim, father of Miss Samuella Crim, who taught in the Sperryville High School for several years and lived with Miss Louise O’Bannon. Miss O’Bannon went to be with Miss Crim on Sunday. Mrs. George Taylor is substituting for Mrs. Robert M. Menefee in the Rappahannock County High School, while Mrs. Menefee is absent because of business.
