Forest Grove 4-H club had the following new members to join at their club meeting: Joan £ubbage, Marjorie Ann*Utz and Dorothy Grisby. School Committee appointed was: Franklin Woodard, Minor Dodson and Adolph Estes. Sisk Committee: Dorothy Grisby, Dorothy Jenkins and John Compton. Finance Committee: Joan Cubbage, Jimmy Atkins and Melvin Williams.

New members to- join Amissville 4-H club Wednesday were Margaret Sisk, Juanita Faircloth and Kathy Laing. Committee Chairmen appointed were: Sick: Theadore Riley; School: Betty Scott, and Finance: Elizabeth Latham.
The .demonstration given to this group on their project Food For Pep was “Keeping of Food Records.”
Washington H.D. club met Tuesday evening for their regular monthly meeting. This month the group continued to do textile painting. 24 articles were decorated at the meeting.
Mrs. Clarence Gough,, president, presided during business meeting. The club decided to buy their own textile painting set.* Suggestions for the 1953 calendar were discussed by Mfs. Clarence Racer.
Castleton H.D. dub sponsored a picnic Saturday for their faimlies and 4-H members in their comihunity at the home of Mrs. John Woodward. Miss Elsie Courtney directed the group in recreation. . -Miss Nellie Johnson, county chairman, presided at the Fall H.D. Planning meeting held Thursday at the Fire House. Mrs. C. R. Hite, Mrs. Jessie Rowzie, Mrs. Lily. Barber and Mrs. R. M. Johnson were on the calendar committee to formulate the calendar from suggestions, and needs of each club as reported by their president or program development leader.
