CARVER VO-AG NEWS

By F. W. Nicholas, Instructor

The Fourth Annual Four-County Agricultural Fair will go into full swing on Saturday morning, October 11, 1952. In previous years the fair has been held at the Ferris Farm Race Track. However, due to the unbalance in the distance that some of the exhibitors have to bring their entries, the location has been changed to the Carver Regional High School.

This Fair is sponsored by the Agricultural Department of Carver Regional High School. Its purpose is to stimulate and promote better farming in the realm of the four counties (Culpeper, Madison, Orange, and Rappahannock). The services of such competent judges as Mr. J. S. Settle, head Animal Husbandry Department, and Mr. M. T. Carter, head~A£rieultural Economics Department of Va. State College, have been secured.

It is only through the liberal support of our advertisers, and through the enduring efforts of the Regional Advisory Council that we are able to make this event possible.

Come to Carver Regional High School on Saturday, October 11, and enjoy a fair designed to meet the satisfaction of both young and old.
