LUELLA CLIFFIN DAVEXPORT
Funeral services for Mrs. Luella Cliffin Davenport were held at the First Baptist Church, Washington, September 29, conducted by her pastor, Elder-Andrew Flurry, asisted by Elder King.
Mrs. Davenport was the daughter of the late William and Betty Clark —Cliffin. She departed from this Ffe— September 26, 1.952, at the age of 51. She was born, and reared in Rappahannock, but moved to Front Royal after her marriage to Mr. Davenport.
Besides her husband, James Davenport, she is survived by two chuldren, Mrs. Betty Bridgett Lewis of Flint Hill and Johnnie Cliffin of Washington, D. C.; two grandchildren, Miss , Delores Bridgett and Lester Bridgett of Flint Hill; three sisters,, Mrs. Rachel M. Estes of Pittsburg, Pa., Mrs. Mary Miller of Washington, D. C. and Miss Ida G. Cliffin of Wash-* ington, Va.; one brother, William Cliffin Jr. of Pittsburg, Pa.; and a step-mother, Mrs. Louemma Y. Cliffin of Washington, Va.
The pallbearers were Haywood Timbers, McCoy Williams, David Churnn, Walter Brer and Will Hunter.
Those from out of town were Mrs. Green Fletcher, Mrs. Mary Jones of Charlestown, W. Va., Mrs. Millie Cliffin of Luray, Rev. and Mrs. Fielding Davenport, Mrs. Emma Jackson of Winchester, Mr. and Mrs. George Washington, T. R.
