The springs on the farm appear to be in better condition than ever. Streams have been straightened and some wet land drained. These same streams seem to stay within their banks better than formerly.
In all fairness, a few words should be given to our Soil Conservaton District and to our Technicians. The operation of the District is decided by its farmer members and is done in a democratic way. The Technicians are able men who do not believe in disrupting your farm operation. They come in, if invited; survey your farm and its needs as they see them ; maTce their recommendations; and then leave.
