The aims of Rappahannock’s Federation Goal “Citizenship" were selected by a committee of Mrs. George Taylor, Miss Nellie Johnson and Mrs. Carl Carpenter. The county objectives for this year were selected by Mrs. Carson Lllard and Mrs. Felton Carter, Mrs. Frank Cary and Mrs. Clarence Gough defined' the duties of the program development leaders for the coming year. During the planning meeting talks given were: 4-H Adult leadership by Mrs. Frank Cary; Results of Federation Goal in 1952 by Mrs. George Taylor, County Goal Chairman; Program suggestions for Rural Institute by Mrs. Jessie Rowzie, and Miss Nellie Johnson. Statement of 1952 successes and weak spots in calendar federation goal and long time objectives by Elizabeth Fuss. Discussion of next years program by Miss Eva Minix, district agent. Mrs. Jessie Rowzie conducted devotions for this meeting. Mrs. Felton Carter was song leader for the day with some very lively songs. During business meeting of Home Demonstration Committee, Mrs. Anne Thompson accepted the position of county federation goal chairman for next year. The members voted to pay $8 for gift of apprecia
