Engagement Announced * "Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Foster of Flint Hill, have announced the engagement of their daughter Delores, to Irvin CoTbin, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Corbin of Culpeper.

Both Miss Foster and Irvin Corbin, Jr., graduated from Rappahannock County High School in the class of 1952. During his senior year in school, Mr. Coifein worked at Rappahannock News; at present fte is employed at the telephone company in Culpeper.

The announcement was made at a birthday dinner Sunday evening, October 5, given by Mr. and Mrs. Corbin honoring the birth* day anniversary of Irvin Corbin, Jr. Guests present included Mr. and Mrs. Hess Woodard of Culpeper; Mr. and Mrs. Warren Corbin, Mr. and Mrs. Burnam Corbin and family, Mrs. Frances Reid and son, "Murphy Reid, of Woodville; Billy Creel of Culpeper; Mrs. Marshall Corbin and son, and Buddy Scott of Rikeyville; F. D. Coffey, Jr., of Sperryville, Miss Helen Nethers of Flint Hill; and Bruce S. Bowie.

CHURCH NOTICES

There will lie regular services at Washington Methodist Church, Sunday, October 12, at 7:30 p.m. Rev. Flythe will be in Norfolk attending an Annual Conference. W. A. Mauck, of Limeton and the Community Choir will have charge of the service. Every one is cordially invited to come and hear some good, singing.

Regular services at Trinity Episcopal Church, will be conducted by George C. Bedell of Jacksonville, Florida, Sunday, October 12. Mr. Bedell is a student at Episcopal Seminary in Alexandria. The public is cordially invited to attend this service.
