Selective Service Notice
The local board office in Washing* ton, Virginia, will be closed from close of business December 19 until morning of Jantlary 5, 1953. Persons desiring to register will report back on morning of January 5. If this is not possible, contact Mrs. Mary R. Miller, Flint Hill, and arrangements will be made to register new registrants. Any delay in registration caused by closing of the local board 'office will not be held against the registrant.
Any requests for personal appearance before the board or appeals to appeal board will be made in writing and mailed to local board office. AH mail wll be stamped on January 5 by the date of postmark on letters. Appeal time in December expires December 21.
