Rifle vs Shotgun Question
Raised In Many Counties
Several Virginia counties have recently raised the question as to the advisability of prohibiting the use of high-powered rifles in the hunting of big game, I. T. Quinn, executive director of the Commission of Game and Inland Fisheries, reports.
The question has been raised because some officials feel that highpowered rifles are more dangerous than shot guns. Quinn did not state whether or not he felt that these rifles were more dangerous but he did present the following facts from which some conclusions could possibly be drawn:
