Mr. and Mrs. R. E. Wood were hosts to a bridg'e supper party on Wednesday evening at “Erin.” Their guests were Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Keyser, Mrs. Z. H. Sealock, Miss Lucile Brown, Mrs Frankie Menefee, Mrs. Jaenie Jarvis and Minor Lewis. High score prize was awarded to Miss Brown
Robert W. Sealock returned to Washington, D. C- on Sunday afternoon after spending the week end with his mother, Mrs. Z. H. Sealock.
Mrs. James Broyles and son, Bobby, Mrs. Joe Fox and daughter, Jo Ann, spent Friday in Washington, D. C., shopping.

Rev- and Mrs. Menchhofer had “open house” from 2 to 10 o’clock Thanksgiving Day. Guests were received from all over the county. The Rev. Mr. Menchhofer conducted “tours” over the parsonage to show the newly decorated rooms. Mrs. J. P. Cook assisted Mrs- Menchhofer in serving refreshments.
