Mrs. Maury W. Brown, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. E. W. Gore and their son, Donald, drove to Richmond on Friday to return with Mr. Brown to be with his family for some time, while convalescing from a major operation at McGuire hospital, Richmond, several months ago.

Guests during the week end at the home of Mr. and Mrs, M. W.' Brown were Mr. and Mrs. John R. Revercomb, Mr. and Mrs, E. W. Gore, Henry Brown and Francis Bruce.

Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Smith of Gainesville spent Friday with Mrs. Helen Bruce. Mr. and Mrs. A. R. •Partlow ' of* Culpeper arrived at “Barlow” on Sunday for a visit with Mrs- Bruce and Mrs. E. W. Gore.

Mrs. Thomas Cozzo and her sister, Miss Joan Aylor, of Washington, D. C. spent the holiday week end with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. HH. Aylor, who also had as their guests for (Jinner Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. John Lowery and three children, Bonnie, Barbara, and Philip Lowery, of Winchester. Ranny Aylor, who spent the week end in Winchester, returned hom« Sunday.
