The 125 members and visitors present were welcomed by Mrs. J. Frank Jones while Miss Mary ■Waller Dickinson of Culpeper gave the response. A devotional built oh John 16:33 was presented by Mrs. G. M. Profitt. Mrs. J. . Browning spoke briefly on “The Christian Business Woman, a Force for Righteousness."
A session, “What Are We Doing to Work God’s Work," included reports by Mrs. Lewis Lacy, Mrs. Lawton Blankenbaker, Mrs. A. H. Spilman, Miss Mattie Dickinson, and Mrs. Elwyn Rinker.
Group leaders presented short accounts of their organization’s _ activities. Leaders representing their groups were: Mrs. Buford 'Douglas, Mrs. L. M. Twyman, Mrs. Winston omerville, and Mrs. C. B. Johnson.
Mrs. E. Rives Ferguson, with a drawing of two wheels each of which depicted a type of communication with the Master Spoke,, talked on the sugject, “All Her Paths Are Peace.’’
Mrs. Lucio Kilby and Mrs. Lucy Cleter rendered “Sweet Peace, the Gift of God’s Love.’’ Mrs. Marjorie Moore Armstrong, a missionary, spoke on “Blessed Peacemakers.”
The linen Shower for' the Infirmary of the Virginia Baptist Home for Aged was contributed to with such abundance that the wagon could barely complete its duty.
During the afternoon session Mrs. James Atkins gave several musical selections.
Mrs. J. Robert Tinsley gave an interracial report and a community missions report was given by Mrs. C. A. Hall.
