~r~ Capt. and Mrs. H. C. Warwick who have been on a visit to their family, Mr. and Mrs. William Warwick of Richmond, have returned to Rockbottom.
James Massie was a dinner guest Sunday of Miss Louise O’Bannon, who also entertained the Rev. Ribble and daughter, Beverly.
Miss Mary Norman Davis is on a visit to her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Blackwell Davis of Charles Town, West Virginia.
B. R. Cox, who has a position in Pennsylvania, spent the weekend at his home.
Mr. and Mrs. S .P. Polend of Haymarket were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Hall of Rose Hill. Mr. Polend returned home in the afternoon. Mrs. Polend remained for a visit to her sister, Mrs. Hall. Mrs. Donald L. Keyser entered the Warren County Memorial hospital on Monday for an operation. Mr. and Mrs. D. D. Miller took their son, Newbill, to Madison on Friday where he met Jimmy Graves. Newbill and Jimmy went by car to VPI to attend the All Star convention of the 4-H clubs. Newbill will remain for the Short Course which is in session at the College this week. ^frs. J. W. Price of The Maples entertained at a picnic supper on Thursday evening for her grandson, Dannie Price of Front Royal. Her guests were Grover Robinson Jr., of Pensacola, Florida, George Davis III, Tom Massie and Ray Snead.
