Rev. R. C. Davis, the number one and the number two choir and the congregation are invited to Mount Vernon Baptist church, Front Royal. Rev. N. H. Johnson, pastor. Candidates for baptism on Sunday were the Misses Shirley Gatewood; Charlotte Barbour and Lawrence v Jackson.

Miss Yvonne Carter of Washington, D. C. spent Sunday with her mother, Mrs. Francis Carter. In the afternoon they visited Francis Carter who is a patient in the Warren Memorial Hospital. They found Mr. Carter improving nicely.

Dinner guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Cleveland Brent were Miss Ann Carter and father, Louis Carter and McCoy Williams.
