Football nterest Grows
“Put my name down at the top of he list,” came instructions by telephone last week as soon as the county paper had carried the announcement that there was interest about the county in getting a football team for high school.
“It’s a fine thing,” said the man who wished to top the list, “ and there’s excellent material in the county to work up a good football team. I’m all for it.”
Expressions of interest like this are a good sign. Of course, work has to begin soon; here it is, almost July, the summer half gone, and those uniforms and football equipment must be on hand by the last week in August to have them ready for the high school opening the first of September.
