Birth Announcements
Kir. and Mrs. Jimmie Johnson of Charlottesville have announced the birth of a son, Thomas Berkley The grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C.B. Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Tom Coates received news of the arrival Sunday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Martin of Martinsburg, West Virginia have announced the birth of a son born June 18 in the City Hospital, Martinsburg, West Virginia. Mrs. Martin is the former Miss Betty Welch of Sperryville and a daughter of Mrs. Annie Mary Welch, who has gone to Martinsburg to be with her daughter and meet the new grandson.
Church Services
Services will be held at the Flint Hill Baptist church June 28, at 11 o’clock. The pastor will preach on “A Happy Christian.” The subject for the evening message at Washington at 8 o’clock is “The Object of Observation.” The public is cordially invited to attend these services.
