With the handing down of the Supreme Court’s decision on "the equalization .of segregation,” the, United States has been issued into a new era, one* which of necessity must bring enlightment and understanding. Hesitantly Rappahannock views the era and hesitantly she considers the changes which this turn of progress make inevitable. Let us hope that we are beyond the prejudice of past generations, and will instead base our decisions and actions, not on such emotionalized prejudices but on right as we see it in this era.
