Mr. and Mrs. Paul Miller, and Paula and Paul Louis and Miss Minnie Williams were Sunday afternoon visitors in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Reid and Mr. and Mrs. Downing Wood.
Supper guests Friday night of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Weaver and M rs. Way land were Mr._and
the Revs. Thach, Profitt, George Bowman and Dr. Ernest Honts.
Miss Shirley Weaver Was home for the week end. ' Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Bettendorf of the Rappahannock County High School and Flint Hill Elementary School faculty, accompanied Miss Elsie Mae Jenkins and Johnny Jenkins and Arthur Cheatham to Washington, D. C. on Saturday where they visited the zoo.
Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Turner and daughter, Miss Carolyn Gates Turner, spent Sunday with Mr. Turner’s father, who was celebrating his birthday with all his children and grandchildren present (with the exception of Cadet John Turner). Around •sixty of his relatives and friends gathered to wish Mr. Turner the best of the day.
Mr. and Mrs. William Warwick of Lynchburg were week end guests of their parents, Capt. and Mrs. H. C. Warwick of Rockbottom. Their children, Will and Jane, have been visiting their grandparents, while Mr. and Mrs. Warwick were moving from Richmond to their new ho!|ie in Lynchburg.
Mrs. Virginia Kuhn of Rose Hill accompanied her uncle, S. C. Poland and son, Samuel of Hayiparket to the Kentucky Derby last week.
Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Hall attended on Monday the funeral of, Mr. Rosenberger, a cousin of Mrs. Hall. Services were con-ducted in Alexandria.
Mrs. Murat Willis of Rhode Island and Mrs. J. W. Fletcher were luncheon guests Monday of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell.
