In addition to the auction sale there will be a food sale. All of this food is home made and4 is be?ing solicited by Mrs. H. C. Warwick; any one wishing to make a contribution should call 2532. . Cakes, pastries, and other food -have,been promised.
The Trinity Episcopal Church will be 100 years old in 1957 and its Auxiliary is making every effort to build a parish hall, to be dedicated at that time. Many projects for money making have .been planned for this year and the White Elephant Sale is tjie eur- ^ rent one. For many years, 25% of the money earned by the Auxiliary on its projects has been put aside at interest for the ^Parish Hall Fund. This fund also includes private donations and now amounts to $2,876.52.
Pfc. Hawkins Undergoes Operation In Germany
Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Hawkins have received word that their son, Pfc. Franklin Hawkins, who underwent a spinal operation in * Heilborne, Germany on April 17, has been moved to Strettgart, Germany, where he has undergone a second operation. No further notice on Pfc. Hawkins* condition has been received by his family.
