The ladies of the Huntly H D club gave a May Day party to the children at Reager School. Billy Wines, game leader, lead group in group games. During the 4-H meeting three members expressed desire to attend d$mp and plans for entering “Share the Fun Contest” were made. After games, refreshments were served by the ladies.
Mrs. Fred Hutchison was hostess for Amissville H. D. club on Wednesday afternoon. Mrs.„WiU Walters and Mrs. Fred Hutchison, craft leaders, were in charge of the demonstrations on hammering metals.
The making of fondant candies was the subject of the demonstration given the senior girls in home economics class Wednesday. The making of fondant is skill useful in making all types of candies.
Mrs. Jean Gallihugh and Mrs. Gilbert Weakley were co-hostesses for F. T. Valley H D club on Thursday. Low calories, refreshments were made during the meeting.
Mrs. R. M, Johnson entertained Woodville H D club Friday afternoon. Miss Bertha Johnson made 3 low calorie desserts during the demonstration.
At the Forest Grove 4-H meeting Friday completed 4-H records and selected Dorothy Jenkins as delegate to attend 4-H camp this summer.
Amissville 4-H club had a party Friday afternoon. Elizabeth Latham, Patsy Woodward, and Roger. Poe were elected delegates for camp. Games were played and home made cake and lemonade were served by Mrs. A. C. Lat
