NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC

Notice is hereby given to the public that Virginia Telephone & Telegraph Company, on April 9, 1954, filed with the State Corporation Commission new schedules, making changes in its existing rates, charges, rules and regulations. The proposed changes are estimated to result in an increase in gross revenues of approximately $240,000 per year. An investigation of the proposed changes has been entered upon by the State Corporation Commission and a hearing on such new schedules has been set for 10:00 A.M., on June 16, 1954, at the Courtroom of the Commission, State Office Building, Richmond, Virginia, at which time and place members of the public generally may appear and present such relevant data as may be desired and be heard. The new schedules showing the proposed changes are on file with and may be seen at the office of the Commission, and information as to such changes may also be obtained from any business office of the Company.
