Mrs. Anna G. Jenkins >' Mis. Anna Gcla Jenkins died at the age of 74 in her home near Woodville, Friday, May 14 after a lingering illness. Burial services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 3:30 in the Geese Funeral Home and interment was in the Fairview Cemetery. The Rev. George Bowman and the Rev. Warren Corbin conducted the last, \ rites. Several musical selections were rendered with Mrs. W. T. Beale at the organ.
Mrs. Jenkins, the wife of J. Wade Jenkins of Culpeper, was the daughter of Joseph Weakley and Mrs. Mary Dodson Weakley, both of Rappahannock County.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Hugh Woodard of Culpeper ; two sons, Samuel Jenkins of Culpeper and Robert P. Jenkins of Rappahannock; a sister, Mrs. Bertie Burke of Woodville; and a brother, John Weakley of Viewtown.—l—Active pallbearers were Weldon Burke, Maurice* O’ B a n non, George Miller, Earl Wayland, Dr. J. Johnnie Fincham, Harry Deal, Howard Jenkins, Lum Jenkins, Thomas Jenkins, Billy Brown, P. M. Browning, Raymond Elmer Jenkins and others were honorary pallbearers. .
CHANGE OF DATE
Due to conflicts with dates scheduled for activities by the Warrenton and Culpeper Volun-, teer Fire Departments, the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department announces the following ^changes in date for the events scheduled to be held on May 28 and June 4: May 21 (instead of June 4) at 8 o’clock, a special event; and
