How Elementary SCA Helps Student Council by Sue Matthews David Qeates, Billy Cheshire. These students gave a very informative and helpful discussion of Student Government and how it functions in Warren County High School, bringing , out the meaning of democracy and the correlation of student government .with a study of government. _
The representatives of the various schools in Rappahannock presented skits or songs by way of entertainment for the group.
Progress reports were^iven by ..each school—on—achievement—ofgoals set up at the—faH^ountycouncil meeting. r After lunch a. short business meeting occurred. The minutes of the Division Meeting held in Front Royal in the Spring of 1953 were read and approved. The Rappahannock county group were invited to Front Royal for the annual meeting in ‘55.
After group singing entertaining skits were presented by the representatives of the vario'us schools in Warren county. Each Warren county school, also, reported on progress made in achievement of goals set up for ^he 1953-54 session.
After repetition of the SCA creed by Elizabeth Latham, the meeting adjourned.
