Carnival, August 2-7
From Monday night through Saturday night, August 2-7, the youngsters in the county will be jumping with joy—‘cause the carnival is coming to the town of Washington for six whole nights.
For the more sedate, there will be a ferris \yfieel, boat rides, and a merry-go-round, while the daring will beat a path to the twistei and the bomber.
The Firemen will opera* several stands and the Ladies Auxiliary will have charge of th( food booth.
