Maury W. Brown is a patient in Mt. Alto Hospital, where he was operated on last Friday. Later reports are that his condition is satisfactory. On Sunday Mrs. Brown and Mrs. Maurice Shirey of Front Royal, Mr. and Mrs. Allen Brown and Mrs. Julian Ragan of Richmond visited him. Guests in the Brown home recently were Mr. and Mrs. Julian Ragan and son, Donald of Richmond and Miss Jean Brown, who has a position in Richmond.
Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Shade and son of Charlottesville were weekend guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Dwyer and family.
Guests on Sunday of 'Mrs. Ethel Tyner and Miss Nellie "Atkins were Miss Frances Leake and Mrs. Lois Frazier of Warrenton.
Mrs. Florence Washer of Front Royal was a guest of Mrs. Perle Coffey on Friday. On Wednesday Mrs. Coffey and W. N. Rector visited relatives in Fauquier. Mrs. F. D. Coffey spent Wednesday and Thursday visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nethers and Mr. and Mrs. Charles Corder at Huntly.
