Last, but not least, we owe a debt of gratitude to the generous, friendly, wonderful spirit of our friends and neighbors of other communities, for without them, and their cooperation in every phase of the carnival, it could not have been acclaimed a success. The spirit of cooperation demonstrated by every individual who attended should be an inspiration to us in future undertakings, and it is from grateful and truly humble hearts that Flint Hillians say thanks for the wonderful things you did to help, and for not doing those things which' would have lessened the pleasures and prosperity of the first Firemen’s carnival of Flint Hill.
