County Swim Courses
Begin Saturday, 31 The “Learn to Swim” program ' sponsored by the Rappahannock County Chapter of the Red Cross will begin on Saturday, July 31, for the children and adults of 1 Rappahannock County. Miss Mary Martha Korte of Culpeper will conduct the classes. Miss Korte attended aquatic school and received her instructor’s certificate at Camp Ockanickon, Medford Lake, New Jersey, in June of this year under Howard Camp. Classes will begin July 31 and , will be held each day the following week, the last class being on Saturday, August 7. This arrange( ment will give a total of 7 classes. Last year the children from Washington attended classes at Mrs. Slaughter’s Pool and, after ’ talking with a number of parents, this arrangement will be followed , again this year. However, Davis’ ^ Lake at Washington is available , if needed for classes in case re[ pairs on Mrs. Slaughter’s Pool are not completed. ,
