Funeral services fo t Miss Blanche Wynn Coates, a retired telephone employee and beloved daughter of the late Charles W. Coates and Nellie Compton Coates, who died July 20, in Medical College Hospital, Richmond, Virginia, were held in the Frank A. Bliley Funeral Home, Richmond, Virginia, July 22 at 10:00 A.M. and interment at 3 P.M. in the Masonic Cemetery, Washington, Va., conducted by the Rev. John Frizzell, Rector of Trinity Church, Washington. She is survived by three brothers, Charles O. Coates, of Sperryville, Roy G. Coates of Croydon, Pa., and Edward Coates of Roanoke; four sisters, Mrs. A. M. Verner, of Washington, Mrs. Frank M. Binford, of Albany, Ga., Mrs. J. B. Wood of Philadelphia, Pa., and Mrs. John 1. Baker of Parkersburg. W. Va.
Those attending the funeral from out of town were Mrs. Frank M. Binford of Albany, Ga., Mrs: J. B. Wood and Mr. and Mrs. Archie Calvin of Pa., Mrs. John J. Baker of Parkersburg. W. Va., Mr. and Mrs. Edward Coates of Roanoke. Va., Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Hilldrup of Chancellor, Va., Mr. and Mrs. Herman Seay of Winchester, Mrs. Henry Jenkins, Jr. and Mrs. Clarke Lloyd of Millwood, and a group of telephone employees from Richmond, with whom she had been associated.
