Marketing Quota
On Friday, July 23, Rappahannock county wheat growers joined other growers throughout the State and nation to decide whether or not the wheat marketing quota program would continue in operation for the 1955 crop.
In accordance with law, Secretary of Agriculture Ezra Taft Benson recently proclaimed marketing quotas for the 1955 wheat crop subject to approval by growers in a nation-wide referendum. At least two-thirds of the wheat growers who voted in the referendum on July 23 must approve wheat marketing Quotas if thev are
