Mr. Barksdale states that producers received their 1955 Wheat allotment priot to voting in the referendum. To be eligible to vote in the referendum, a producer had to have a 1955 wheat allotment Iftrger than 15 acres or must have interest in a wheat allotment larger than 15 acres. Also any producer who stated to the referendum committee that he intends to produce more than 15 acres was given an opportunity to vote. . -

Major and Mrs. Ralph P. Andrews of Arlington, Virginia, have purchased a 168-acre tract of land with 5 room dwelling near Castleton from Dr. and Mrs* Thaddeus G. Fibich of Washington, D. C. This land which is better known as the “Amon Deal land” is mostly in timber. Major, Andrews is very interested in this timber. He plans to make here his week-end and vacation home while he is, in the U. S. Air Force and stationed in Washington, D. C.
