And once there, they felt their pride doubly justified. For around the carnival, a friendly air prevailed, .people worked together in friendly spirit, people who felt fine because they were making money for a good cause, one that would spell protection for them, their family and the entire community.
This carnival shows *what can be done if the persons in a community work together. It shows what can be accomplished if the communities in a county work together. Yes, this is what can be done when persons forget for a moment their petty disagreements, their individual prejudices and merge their cooperative spirit with othprs. This is the results of cooperation.
