Split Doubleheader With Oak Grove
Flint Hill won the first game 6-5 and lost the second game by 9 to 2 score last Sunday, July 18 in a doubleheader with Oak Grove on the Grovers’ diamond. The first game was completion of rained out game. Starting at 1st of 9th Flint Hill lead off with Claude Foster, who was hit by a pitched ball. Charles Foster was sent in as runner. He was sacrificed to second by Corder; moved to third* by single by Punk Pullen, and scored on a wild pitch. Oak Grove went down in order in the last of the ninth.
