dropped a thrilling 10-inning game to the Front Royal Athletic Club Sunday afternoon on the Flint Hill diamond, as it held the visiting team to a 5-5 tie until the 10th inning. Front Royal scored 3 runs in the first inning but Flint Hill came back with 1 iir their half of the 1st, and added 1 more in the 3rd and 2 in the 5th to take a 4-3 lead that stood up until the 8th inning. After 2 outs in the 8th inning Front Royal came across with 2 runs to take a 5-4 lead. David Foster, 1st man up in Flint Hill’s half of the 8th, hit a home run to tie the score 5-5 that stood until the 10th inning. In the 10th Front Royal came up with 3 runs on 3 hits. Flint Hill failed to score in their half of the 10th.
