and Mrs. Beverley Hall of Arlington were week-end guests at . the Lee Highway Hotel as guests of Mrs. Howard and Mrs. Yates. They were accompanied home by their son, Joe, who had been spending a few days with his grandmother. Ann Yates is remaining for a longer stay.
Mrs. Jefferson Clater, who underwent an operation at Warrenton Hospital last week, was visited on Friday by her brother ~and sister-in-law. Mi. and Mis. William Jefferson and on Sunday those who drove to the hospital to see her were Mr. and Mrs. Carlton Atkins and Mrs. Jesse Clater.^
Mr. and Mrs. Cabel Powell of Arlington were wee-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne.
Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Lyne and their daughter and son, Peachey and David, left on Tuesday for Blacksburg where Mrs. Lyne and children will visit friends and Mr. Lyne will attend a meeting for County Agents at VPI. s.
