The natural ampi-theatre, is located'on the shore of beautiful Lake Matoka, named for the Indian princess Pocahontas, (Matoaka was her Indian name). The spot is surrounded by tall oak and pine trees. A small symphony orchestra and an organ furnished appropriate music. This pageant depicts the events leading up to the Revolutionary War including the drafting of Declaration of Independence and to its final scene. Besides the exciting historical events, an accomplished ballet interpreted , scenes of joy, sorrow, fear and triumph.
