IN BRANDY, AUGUST 27 OLIEFINkS LECTURES
Ollie Fink, Executive Secretary of Friends of the Land, Columbus, Ohio, will address a large group of Gardevn Club members, Soil Conservation District cooperators, business and professional people on August 27 at 8 p.m. at the new Brandy Fire Station, Brandy, Va. Mr. Fink is a nationally -known author and lecturer. He is an authority on the various phases of conservation education.
The meeting is being jointly sponsored by the Brandy Country Garden Club and the Culpeper Soil Conservation District Supervisors. Everyone is invited.
Racer Injured In
Freak Accident
Carroll Racer, Jr., Washington, was the ' victim of a freak and painful accident last week, when the rim blew off the tire while he was putting air in it, and injured his head in several places. He was rushed to the Warren Memorial Hospital by the Washington Rescue Squad and was released after brief treatment. -
