Eleven oclock services will be conducted by the Rev. R. L. Banks the fifth Sunday of this month, August 29 at First Baptist Church in WashingtQn.

The sixty-fifth Annual Session .of the Wayland Bide Ridge Association was opened yesterday at Cedar Grove Baptist Church, Culpeper County. The Association will continue through today (Thursday) and Friday.

Graduation exercises for - the Home Nursing Classes conducted by Mrs. Carol Webster of Marshall, in Washington and Ami^sville, were held Friday night, July 3(X with 25 persons receiving certificates. Thirteen students from Amissville and 12 from Washington were awarded these certifi„ cates. Miss Mary filler Wood and Mr. Frederick gave talks at the exercises as representatives of the Red Cross, the organization that sponsored the Home Nursing Classes.

Warren Roy of Philadelphia, ^ Pa., spent last week with his mother, Mrs. Matilda Mundy.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mundy and son, Robert Jr. spent the day Sunday with Mrs. Mattie Mundy of Berryville. Callers also of Mr. and Mrs. Mundy on Monday were Mr. and Mrs. Richard Freeman of White Post, Mr. and Mrs. William Roy and children and Mrs. Roy’s sister of Harrisburg, Pa.

Mr. Ernest Glasker of Rochester, N. Y. spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Henry Glas— ker. On Tuesday, he and Dolly Glasker motored to North Carolina and returned with his wife and two children. - Mr. and Mrs. Ted Carpenter of Rochester, N. Y. is spending — two weeks with Mrrs. Zepher Glasker.

Rev. Washington Burrell of Washington, D. C. spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Williams, also attended “Home Coming” at Nazreth Church.
