Several* residents of the cour_ have inquired about die poasibiljf or organising a hiking club whlB would meet for afternoon hikes in the county or park area. Now that harvest season is almost over and cooler weather coming it ia an ideal season for hiking. Anyone interested in joining a hiking club contact Raymond Johnson Woodvillc; Mrs. Paul Miller, Flint Hill or Mrs. Sarah Latham, at Amissville.

Hikes would begin as short ones and gradually increase in lenght as time and muscles permitted.

Rummage Sale Report

The rummage sale sponsored by the Ladies Auxiliary to the Washington Fire Company cleared $77 over the weekend, bringing the total thus far to $252.69. The sale will end this Saturday, September 26. Be sure to visit the ladies this weekend. Mrsi Elizabeth H. DeBergh and Mrs. John, R. DeBergh were in charge of the sale for the past weekend.
