Strother Estate
Settled
The estate of the late D. J. F. Strother, prominent Welch, West Virginia attorney and businessman who died 'last Monday, has been estimated to exceed one million dollars.
Mr. Strother’s will was filed for probate Monday with die Me Dowell County Court.
T w e n t y-eight individual bequests totaling $150,000 were made by the will. Several of the 28 were named to share in the remainder of the estate, including the First Presbyterian Churches af Welch and Pearisburg, Va.
A native of Rappahannock County, Va., Mr. Strother, 87, was dean of the McDowell County bar, past president of the State Bar Association.
