The 35th running of the Virginia Gold Cup at William Schlusemeyer’s Broadview Estate on Saturday, May 7th at Warrenton, Va. is again proving to be the focal point of interest among the local owners ortimber horses. This year there is particular incentive as the current Gold Cup was placed into competition in 1954 and during the succeedipg five runnings, five different owners have had their colors carried jinto the winner’s circle.
