Regular Five-Year
School Census To
Be Taken
The time has arrived for taking the regular five-year school census in accordance with the Code of Virginia, Section 22-223 announced Mr. Q. D. Gasque, Division Superintendent of Schools for Warren and Rappahannock Coynties. Since the distribution of certain State funds for both school and county use is based on the school census, complete accuracy is essential. Many times during a' year, this census provides the only means of determining the birthdate of people applying for social security and other legal evidence of age.
The School Census includes all children in Warren and Rappahannock Counties who have reached their 1st birthday and who will have not reached their 20th birthday by September 1, 1960. All children living in the home but who are not members of that family should also be listed. continued on page twelve
