Onto the subway and back to our hotel to do last minute packing and be ready to board our bus at 1:30. The bus took us to the Day Line Tour’s dock where we boarded a boat for a three-hour tour around Manhatten Island.
There were so many impressive things to see on this tour and in New York that I can’t begin to mention all of them. After the tour we headed for home arriving aabou 1:00 a.m., a weary’ bunch of seniors.
Although a few of us had been to New York before, the trip was a wonderful experience that will be long remembered by all. So our wannest thanks to everybody who helped make the trip possible by 1960!
