Haywood Dodson, a passenger in the Dodson car was taken to Warren Memorial Hospital, Front Royal with lacerations of the face and head.

Dodson was charged with reckless driving by Trooper W. A. Buntin. S On Route 211, seven miles east of Washington, Va. a 1959 I*fymouth sedan owned and operated by Ronald Allen Rayburn of Hyattsville Md. was sideswiped by Phillip Edward Macafee, Woodstock, Va. driving a 1951 Studebaker. Macafee failed to stop at the scene of the accident but was apprehended later and charged with hit-and-run and driving drunk. Trooper W. A. Buntin estimated the damages to both vehicles at approximately $500.
