Continued from page one is a half-sister to the stakes winner Errol ford. A newcomer to the scene will he Harkimell, the color-bearer for Mrs. Edward L. Stephenson and Mrs. Mary C. Stephenson. Two other horses from the near by countryside are Cyrus Manierre’s Nordame and Mrs. William C. Crane Jr.’s Nocturno.
The probable line-up also includes Randolph Rouse’s Ricacho; Mrs. Virginia M. Duvall’s Valley Mart and William J. Turner Jr.’s Carolina Hills.
While much attention is given to the annual renewal of the Virginia Gold Cup, the race committee has not limited its efforts to just one race during the afternoon. The program also lists two brush races, two hurdle races and one race on the flat.
